"Sha" Golf Tournament Rules & Regulations

Scramble Format

1. Each person tees off.
2. The group selects the drive which they prefer and all players in the group drop their ball within two feet of this drive, no closer to the hole. Each player is allowed to lift, clean and place the ball before playing his shot. Note: If you are in a hazard (i.e.-sand trap) or your line of play is obstructed, everyone must play from the hazard or from the same obstruction.
3. This routine is continued until you finish the hole.
4. Once a putt goes in the hole, your group is finished with the hole and you should move on to the next hole. Thus, you should "mark" putts that end up close to the hole until each person putts.
5. If you have three players in your group, player A should hit an extra shot for an entire hole. On the next hole, player B should hit the extra shot, etc. so that all three players will have 6 holes in which they each will hit extra shots.

• Longest Drive Holes: Ball must be in fairway
• Closest to the Pin/Hit the Green: Fringe does not count Judges' decision is final!

"NO HUNT" RULE: IF YOU HAVE A BALL IN PLAY, PLEASE DO NOT SPEND A LOT OF TIME LOOKING FOR BALLS IN THE WOODS, ROUGH, ETC.
